How We Work Together

The Practical Stuff
Where You Might Feel Hesitant
What's the difference between Floreo & Co. and hiring a virtual assistant?
A virtual assistant is generally there to execute the tasks you hand over. I sit a layer above that, in the thinking, the systems, the "why isn't this actually working" conversations. Years of experience across operations means I can see the whole business rather than just the task in front of me, and make connections between the parts that feel disconnected. You're not just getting a to-do list ticked off, you're getting a partner who's invested in the outcome.
Do I need to know exactly what I need help with, or can you help me figure that out?
Not necessarily. Honestly most people who reach out don't have it fully mapped out, and that's completely normal. You know something isn't flowing the way it should. You don't necessarily know whether that's a systems problem, a people problem, or a follow-through problem. That's where I come in. We'll figure it out together.
What does working together actually look like, week to week?
It depends on what we're working on, but broadly, I get into the operational side of your business, the workflows, the processes, the projects that keep stalling. Some weeks that looks like building out a system from scratch. Other weeks it's auditing something that's already there and quietly not working. I don't advise from the sidelines. I partner with you to see things through, to keep things moving forward.
Do you work inside my existing tools, or do you bring your own systems?
Your tools, your business. I'm not here to change what's working and replace it with something I prefer. I'll work with what you've got, and we can build from there. If that means considering other tools, that's a conversation we have collaboratively.
What if I work with a program you don't have on your list?
Don't be put off! Reach out anyway. The list of programs I use is a starting point, not a wall. I've spent many years working inside other people's systems, so a new platform or program isn't a roadblock. If it's core to how your business runs, I'll get across it.
